Nicky is a qualitative research expert who has spent 20 years using research to help companies and organizations to develop and innovate successfully. She is also a trained and practicing psychotherapist.

 

She specializes in using techniques from the world of psychotherapy to gain a richer insight into people's motivations, conflicts and wishes. This level of insight makes for more effective marketing, products, brands, services - and even government policies.

 

Her work has been seminal to innovation programs carried out by clients as diverse as Unilever, Seiko, British Airways, Visa, Cereal Partners, Singapore Airlines, and a range of government departments.

 

Nicky speaks fluent French and Italian, and has conducted qualitative research in more than 30 markets spanning Europe, the United States, Latin America and the Far East.

 

She was educated at the Perse Girls' School in Cambridge, Fettes College in Edinburgh and Bristol University, where she gained an Upper Second degree in Modern Languages. She subsequently carried out a postgraduate training in psychotherapy.
