Adrian brings an analytical focus to Promise having previously worked in investment banking and financial markets. He has a keen interest in developing start-up companies through inventive products and novel business strategies.
Previously at the Royal Bank of Scotland, Adrian was an analyst in credit derivatives strategy. He also has experience at ING Bank in Hong Kong (formerly ING Barings), and Sloane Robinson Investment Management, a prominent multi-strategy hedge fund in London. With public and private sector exposure, he has worked on a variety of projects including privatisation schemes with the Korean government and joint venture programmes between regional Taiwanese banks.
Currently, Adrian is working on dynamic projects involving the concept of 'Middle England', making saving sexy, and issues on loyalty and membership for global alliances in the hospitality sector. Additionally, he manages the Promise Index, a quantitative tool that measures how effectively brands are delivering their promises.
Adrian has an economics degree and an MSc in Economic History from the London School of Economics. He is fluent in English and Cantonese, and loves backpacking, ethnic food and photography. He particularly enjoys getting lost in quaint foreign villages to look for the best photo opportunities!
