Tom Hoy

Tom is interested in the shifting media landscape of our globalised and digital age. He is particularly keen to explore the way technology is facilitating two-way conversations between brands and people.

Tom joins Promise after finishing his masters - achieving a distinction in International Relations at the London School of Economics. Prior to this he worked for the digital agency Harvest, where he worked for clients Tesco and Shelter.

Here at Promise, Tom has worked with Hilton Hotels, ITV and British Gas before being recruited to join the team at Promise Communities. He has also written a paper on the unique dynamics of brand development in an online context.

Having obtained a first class degree in History, Tom was awarded the top academic prize in his department. He was also Music Editor of student newspaper 'Exepose', but after dabbling in journalism decided it was brands and not bands which tickled his fancy.
