What is on young people’s minds today?

Posted by Arun Malik under General, 26 Sep 2012

Britain’s wonderful sporting summer may be over, but for the government, the hard work starts now – how to deliver the promised legacy of inspiring the next generation.

For the government, this goal is a duty. For brands, it represents an opportunity.

But how do you ‘inspire a generation’ of young people? What is on the minds of young people today?

On Friday, we are hosting an event that will bring together clients and consumers aged 16-20 to explore these very issues.

Earlier in the week, we asked a group of marketers (who will remain anonymous!) what they think is on young people’s minds?

And here is what they said….

The cost of going to university

Finding a job in the current economic climate

Leaving home and getting their feet on the property ladder

Maintaining their friends and relationships as they move into a new phase in their lives

We shall see on Friday if these thoughts ring true.

In the meantime, what do you think young people are thinking about?
